HONDA XR250 TORNADO
Having rented this model to customers for the past 10 years (and riding it myself on an almost daily basis) I have no yet found any other bike, which works as perfect for a single rider with luggage (no passenger) in Costa Rica as the XR250 Tornado. It gets you easily well above the maximum speed limit of 80km/h (50 miles/h) allowed on Costa Rican highways. And once leaving paved roads, you will appreciate its lightweight and versatile handling. A decent sized gas-tank and economic fuel-consumption gives you range of some 250km. Its bullet-proved air-/oil cooled engine won´t let you down. This model we can also lower in suspension and put a low-cushioned seat on it, so it is also suitable for shorter riders.
